We founded Finger Lakes Running in Ithaca in 2006. It continues to be an awesome adventure serving the larger community of walkers, runners, and those just needing a solid fitting shoe or advice.

In 2013, we founded Confluence Running in Binghamton and handed Matt & crew those reigns a few years in to give it more impactful local ownership. It has been phenomenal to see them not only grow, but also expand with additional shops in Corning, Middletown, and Watertown.

Listening to the feedback of our Syracuse area customers, in March we’ll launch Finger Lakes Running - Syracuse. We aim to bring additional service and product offerings to one of the strongest running communities nationally, and offer a compliment and alternative to what Ed & Ellen established with Fleet Feet DeWitt; one of the best running stores in the country.

Joining neighboring go-to’s like Meiers Creek and Blue Cafe, & long-standing community events such the Inner Harbor 5k, and resources such as the Empire State Trail at 720 Van Rensselaer St

In short, we’ve heard your feedback and raise you; We’ll be there.

We’ll be there when you need gear.

We’ll be there with honest advice without upselling add-on’s.

We’ll be there when you need a training partner (or life partner).

We’ll be there for no-hassle returns, exchanges, and swaps.

We’ll be there for PRs.

We’ll be there for DNFs.

We’ll be there for just getting out the damn door.

Here’s to the next 20.
